Emergency Update: Illinois Department of Revenue

In recent alerts from the Illinois CPA Society, it has come to our attention that the United States Post Office (USPO) has refused to pick up or deliver IDOR 1040-ES (Estimated Individual Payments) to the address specified on the IDOR tax forms (Illinois Department of Revenue--Springfield IL 62736-0001).

 REMEDY: When mailing items to the Illinois Department of Revenue (IDOR) using the USPO address, include IDOR’s street address to ensure delivery. The correct address is:

101 West Jefferson Street

Springfield, Illinois 62736-0001

 If already mailed in, do not mail in again, the state of Illinois is working with the US Post Office to alleviate any issues and will have more information as it comes available.
