About Us
Helping girls cultivate values, social conscience and self-esteem, while also teaching them critical life skills that will enable them to succeed as adults.
Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois (GSNI) serves over 17,000 girls and 4,000 adults in 16 counties in northern Illinois. Our mission is to build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Through a variety of leadership-oriented and girl-led programming, girls participate in age-appropriate activities in the areas of Healthy Living, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), Financial Literacy, Outdoor and Environmental Awareness, and Community Service.
