The Public Action to Deliver Shelter (PADS) of Elgin program provides emergency shelter for homeless men, women and children. The shelter is open 24/7, 365 days and nights a year.
PADS employs on-site coordinators to oversee shelter operations. We are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to work at the shelter during the evening two to three nights per week. Some weekend hours will be required.
Each site coordinator is in charge of shelter safety while working and will provide oversight of the guests, volunteers, coordination of meals and maintenance of the supplies.
