    Project Coordinator
    GENERAL FUNCTION
    Responsible for working with the executive director and other administrative and senior staff to organize
    and implement existing and new and exciting projects. Working in a team environment, the project coordinator will organize meetings, develop and maintain tracking and other systems for data and more, manage schedules, and ensure all materials and information are present to meet project timelines. The project coordinator also will be responsible for providing administrative and other support for grants and development activities as well as financials. This position is essential to maintaining existing projects and launching of new projects; it requires advanced organizational skills and professionalism.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Monitor current and future projects and coordinate all team members involved to keep workflow on track
    • Work to improve the project processes
    • Assist executive director in ensuring projects align with set strategy and budget
    • Keep track of all project- and organizational financial related paperwork; ensure all needed
    materials are current and properly filed and stored
    • Organize and plan meetings with executive director and others
    • Coordinate project schedules, and new information; keep all materials up to date
    • Communicate project and other timeline changes and new information to team; track project
    changes and adjust schedules as needed
    • Record minutes and take detailed notes during meetings, as requested
    • Responsible for supporting staff in the planning and coordination of special events

    SUPERVISORY RELATIONSHIP
    • Reports to Executive Director

    REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
    • Bachelor’s degree in administration, marketing, communications, business, or related field
    • Previous experience in an administrative, marketing, or coordinator role
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Superior computer skills; well-versed in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong and thorough
    knowledge of Excel
    • Able to work effectively under pressure
    • Flexible and able to multitask on several different aspects of a project or on multiple projects
    • Able to produce quality work with strict deadlines
