Manager

Responsible for day-to-day operations of the Community Day Services program, and for assuring compliance with all applicable DHS, DPH, CARF, and local rules and standards, and agency policies and procedures. Supervise assigned staff, and provide clients and staff members with a team oriented, positive, professional and safe environment to learn and work.  Function as the QIDP for assigned caseload in the development and implementation of individual programs to maximize clients’ work and daily living skills, health promotion, and inclusion in the community.  Provide documentation on clients in accordance with all applicable state, local, and agency standards and procedures.   

Education:  

• Bachelor’s degree in a human service field required; Master’s Degree preferred 

License/certifications:  

• Must meet qualifications as a QIDP  

• Attend and pass DHS mandated QIDP training within 6 months of hire; maintain QIDP CEUs 

Experience:  

• Minimum two years paid experience in the field of developmental disabilities 

• Supervisory experience required
