Dates and Times Required:
Dates and times are flexible as agreed upon by the Alignment and Chamber
teams and the student’s summer schedule. The assignment will begin in June
and be completed by early August.
Compensation/Time Commitment:
$900 Stipend funded by the Alignment Collaborative and the Elgin Area
Chamber of Commerce/Total of 60 Hours

Description/Responsibilities:
The internship will include assisting the Chamber and Alignment teams with
promotional marketing utilizing social media, website, and video
applications. Successful candidates will have experience in social media
applications and video production, including filming and editing. The
candidate will also need strong communication skills utilized when
interviewing students and community leaders captured on video footage.
The candidate may also assist the Chamber and Alignment teams with
upcoming event promotions such as the annual golf outing, Explore 2023,
etc.
Requirements:
Must be a registered U-46 student for the 2022-23 school year.
Candidates need to have both video production and editing skills.
Must have the ability to manage projects within a designated timeline.
Must be self-motivated, hard-working, and reliable.
