    Position Announcement: Sales Leader
    September 2022

Eder Financial is looking for a leader for our sales efforts. If the following bolded statements sound like you or someone you know, please submit a cover letter, resume, and three professional references to Tammy Chudy at tchudy@eder.org
“I am a leader who likes to proactively solve problems for others.”
This position requires an individual who can solve for the spoken and unspoken needs of our future customer. In addition, this role will be part of the leadership team for our organization.

    “I am available to travel.”
The position requires meeting our potential clients at their convenience whether that is in person, on zoom, or at a conference. In addition, there are other opportunities for travel related to the business of our organization. These opportunities include but are not limited to attending a Benefits Church Plan Workshop in April, an annual conference in July, regional conferences in the fall, and a Church Benefits Association conference each December. Networking and other educational travel related to our products/services and our potential client base is also expected.

    “I can work remote.”
When the sales leader is not traveling, the work will be completed remotely so we need individuals who work well independently in any environment.

    “I can work weekends.”
Some of the travel will be conducted via weekend events so flexibility in scheduling is a must.

“I want to work for a brand of influence.”
We have recently rebranded to Eder Financial, previously known as Church of the Brethren Benefit Trust. Our organization provides retirement, insurance, and organizational investing to over 5,000 individual and client organizations nationwide. The new brand allows us to expand our client base and therefore our influence.

“I am a person of faith.”
This is a full-time, exempt position working for a not-for-profit, faith-based organization that aligns with peace church traditions. Our employees practice their faith in a diverse array of worldviews and denominations.

“I see meaningful work in the simplest of conversations.”
We offer products and services that enable security, wellness, and stability in a constantly changing world. Within that context, we are looking for people who treasure each relational interaction as a method of conveying the values of our brand, one person or group at a time.

“I have relevant content knowledge and experience.”
This leadership position requires an undergraduate degree, at least 4 years of experience in identifying, creating, and reporting on sales opportunities, and effective oral and written communication skills. The ideal person is an engaging listener and communicator with a drive to achieve sales success through strong relationship building which cares for the customer’s problem and the organization’s reputation.

“I want to care for myself and my family.”
We have a fair compensation structure with a strong benefits package that includes organizational contributions for retirement, medical, life, and long-term disability, as well as options to add dental, vision, and short-term disability coverage. In addition, we offer 22 days of vacation, accrued at the start of the year. We also have flexible work hours within a basic workday structure.

“I might be a fit or know someone who is!”
